I'm so confused today. Like, everything is literally whizzing by, getting caught in my hair, lifting me up and putting me down. And no, I'm not being Emo.
Facebook: Did they just postpone FFAFuture? Er....
Chem marks: One more mark, one more mark, one more mark. You know, I did so badly for Amaths but I don't really care. I know I can pick myself up. But Chem? I was counting on you. I know combined with my CA1 its still an A1, but after trying so hard I feel so cheated. I told myself, its okay if you do badly for Chem and Physics, because you really prepared for it. Physics was okay, but what does it say when I put in so much of effort and still do badly? That I'm stupid? That, as much as I try, I'll never be able to do well? That, basically I suck? Yeah, I think thats about it.
Bio: On another note, I got a B3 for Bio... and I don't give a shit! HAHAHAHAHA... Hahahaha... haha.. ha... ha. *stops laughing and stares at the screen blankly*
ACS(I) talk: It was interesting. Me and my mum were there with Sotong and her mum. I could literally see hearts in Xing Yi's eyes when they started talking about all those philosophical questions. Later when we were walking around at the different subject booths, I totally ignored Bio (refer to previous paragraph on my immense love for the subject), like didn't even go to the booth. Me and Xing Yi spent almost half an hour at the Visual Arts booth though. I didn't know she was so interested in art, and it was a suprise, albeit a pleasant one.
ACS guy: Hi, do you have any questions on art? Me: Yeah, what are the qualifications needed to- ACS Guy: Nothing. Me: Huh, as in, no O-levels or- ACS Guy: Nope. Nothing. Me: Oh... ACS Guy: Actually, there are two students who had never taken art before, and they joined art. They both got 7 points in the finals... Xing Yi: (Talking about herself) If you can't draw or paint, how do you take art? ACS Guy: Err.. erm... ah, let me get my teacher.. erm.. yeah.. er.. (runs to the teacher)
But the teacher was really good at explaining everything. He showed us the different installations made by the pupils, and explained all the things you could do other than drawing or painting. It was good.
Then, at the English booth, some guy was explaining the curriculum to us. And when I saw him, the first thing that came to mind was Xiao Hui. Seriously, like he was bouncing up and down and talking in the same was as her, as he was always like smiling. So funny! And then, suddenly, while he was explaining that 'English' there was basically Lit [I love! But I fail :(], suddenly, this yellow... thing collided with him. It was Xiao Hui. "Hello, this is my brother you know! Hahahahaha." I could see Salad behind her, her face all red. Ooh, Salad, i haven't seen you blushing for a long time. Was it because of all the guys there? Tsk tsk. Anyway, then Xiao Hui was like "Hello! HELLO!" at all of us. Then she whacked her brother and pointed to Sotong. "Oi! She looks like Huang Bi Ren right?" Her brother was kind of speechless. Sotong also had a very blank look on her face. Then she walked off, came back a few seconds later, told her brother to keep some guitar for her and went off.
Haha, oh 2e.
Amanda Soo and the bus-ride home: If Amanda had any doubts about me being a complete idiot, after today I'm sure they have all been completely erased. My mom said that she was around Coronation Plaza, so she could pick me up from the NJC bus stop. So, I got into a bus, since so many of them pass NJ right? Amanda was taking that bus too. First thing I noticed, you know those handholds hanging from the ceiling of the bus? Yeah, they were touching her head! Hahaha. She did not seem very amused by my observation though. Anyway, she claimed she didn't know where she lived so I was quite confused.
Me:I think I can get on quite a few buses. Amanda: Oh. Me: Because my mom's picking me up at NJC. Amanda: Oh. Me: My mom's a teacher there. Amanda: Oh. Me: I'm lying. Amanda: Oh... Oi!!
Anyway, I pressed the stop button one bus stop ahead of the NJ one, and then I realised it was the wrong bus stop, so I didn't get off. And I think the bus driver was kind of pissed? Then they stopped at the NJ bus stop, and as I was about to get off, I realised that though my mum had said 'NJ bus stop' she meant the bus stop opposite Chinese High. So, I didn't get off again, and when I finally got off, Amanda seemed kind of relieved. Sorry Amanda!
The Bookshop: Went there to buy correction tape, and there was this little imp of a primary school girl opening cupboards she was not supposed to and basically being really mischievous. Until the bookshop auntie scolded her. Guess who it was?
Maya Rajah.
Dear Meerems, I guess it runs in the family huh?
Evan's blog: I just went to evan's blog. I'm so happy she posted about Ms. "Blek's"- or who she calls, "Ms. K's"- behaviour. Its good to see that someone spoke up about the horrible, unprofessional and atrocious behaviour of a teacher who should belong in the zoo.. as food for the lions. Also, her message to people whining about the mid years: "To all who did badly for mids: Does it matter? It's the o levels which count anyway. So what if you get a hundred for all your subjects? Does it really make a difference in your o level grade? Who knows, the one who gets a hundred might get over confident and fail in the end. Who knows? Study hard, the whole of june is yours to spend."
I shall stop whining. My sucky mid-year marks are my fault. Thanks, all those who said that its partially due to my illness, but still, its my fault for not taking care of myself. Try harder for prelims. I'm sorry, Su-lyn, if I pissed you off about Chem today.
I'm going to sleep now. My dogs are trying to get into the room. I pretend to be stern and tell them to sleep in the living room, but I always let them in in the end. By the time I wake up? Banjo's on my bed, curled up somewhere near my feet. Bim's sitting on the floor and glaring at Banjo cuz he's too heavy to lift himself onto the bed. Bowser's curled up on the rug near the door, snoring away in all his glory. He's snoring here right now in fact. Bowser dreams, its so cute when he moves in his sleep. Funny thing, these three dogs. They don't speak at all, but they bring me more comfort than a room full of people. Banjo, Bowser, Bim, I don't know what I'd do without the three of you.
YShe laughed. And laughed. And laughed yet again.;;
