Okay, I'll jump straight to the concert.
Bollywood Dazzlers
This one was done by Mrs. Pandian, Ms. Sim, Mrs. Chan, Mrs. Poh, Ms. Sabrina Yeo, Mrs. Y Y Lim, Mrs. Lam, etc.
They all were like dancing to this Hindi song. And Pandian, Poh and Sim were super enthu about it. Ms. Yeo was super funny. She had this really bored, blank look on her face. And Mrs. Chan was even funnier- She didn't even look bored. She looked super pissed off and I think she would have murdered one of the teachers if she could. Haha..
MGS' Next Top Model
THIS ONE WAS THE BEST.
Seriously.
At first i thought that the teachers would just walk up and down the stage or something. But I was wrong. Not only did they strut around, they confirmed secret relationships and made the love they had for each other public.
I know what you're thinking - Aiyah, this stupid Rivali. Got nothing to do one, always make up rubbish about people. But I'M NOT LYING. Ask Meera. Okay, not a very reliable person.. Erm.. Ask Hui Ling. Wait, she'll tell you to shut up. Erm.. ASK ZOE!! SHE'LL CONFIRM.
Okay, so, last year there was this rumour about David Loh staring at Mrs. Gina Thomsett's butt cuz he was in love with her right? Maybe she loves him too! Because-
The first people to model were Mrs. Thomsett and Mr. David Loh. They walked in from opposite sides of the stage. Gina was smiling, but Loh had a blank face. He was probably trying to -Aiyah, nevermind, you'll say I'm talking crap, like I always do.
Yeah, Loh was wearing a suit while Gina was wearing a white dress. So, then, they 'danced' and she twirled right into his arms. Then she totally put her hands on his chest and walked in a circle around him , her hands never leaving his chest. Yeah, then they left.
Next was Mr. Ong and Ms. Tania Tang. He 'proposed' to her; like, knelt down and held out a flower, which she accepted.. Ms. Tang was smiling, but Kifo had this super stoned, blank look on his face. Hahaha..
It would be so funny if on Monday, Ms. Tang announced to people that she was getting married to Mr. Ong or something.. So many people would be upset.. Mrs. Chan, Mr. Seow, Ms. Cheah, Su-lyn, etc..
Yeah, then was Mr. Seow.. He entered the stage, with not one, but TWO female teachers. Mrs. Emily Tang and Ms. Lynette Yang. Mrs. Tang and Ms. Yang looked normal, but Seow looked super embarrassed and nervous and shy.. Haha..
Then came Seow and David Loh again with Ms. Kon. Like whatever. She was just looking so.... lifeless.. And believe me, when I say lifeless, I mean lifeless. I'm friends with Shu Wei, after all. Go monotone!! EgoShu, etc!
Sorry, I digressed totally.
Then, all of them came back onstage. Gina and David Loh entered first, and she bumped her hips against his hips like three to four times while he just stood there, repeating- "You're engaged. You're engaged. You're engaged." to himself.
Kifo and Tania Tang came out and he knelt in front of her again. Yeah, then the rest of them came onstage, then left.
Dynamic Duo
Ms. Tsien and Mrs. Arlene Chan played three duets on the piano. The second one was the nicest, where they played that theme from Fantasia. But, I think it dragged on a bit too much, lah. I mean, I'm sure many girls, including me, play the piano, but not many of us are actually into classical music, right? Oh well, they were playing so fast! It was unbelievable.
Idol Spoof, MGS Style
First up was MRS. MAGDALENE SIM. Oh my GOSH she looked totally different!! She was wearing a long white dress and had done something to her hair, and she was singing a cantonese song. She was smiling, and she looked so happy! So different from the scary Chem teacher she was last year! Everyone was smiling when they saw her.
Mrs. Janet Ng sang a song about History, where she was like singing something about wanting her students to do well in the subject. When she said 'Hitler" Meera and I started cheering like hell.
Then the two Lao Shis (correct spelling? I'm not Chinese, so, whoops, sorry.) sang a a song on friends. It was in Chinese, and even though Meera takes Chinese, she claimed she couldn't understand a word, and Hui Ling looked like she would kill me if I asked her to translate for me. I dint want to bother Zoe, cuz to talk to her, I had to lean across Hui Ling, who would have killed me.
So sweet! They look like really close friends. :D
Mr. Ong (Kifo) sang a song too. Super nice! Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol. He went out of tune for one word, and Meera started laughing like hell... So mean.. Oh well, I really love the song. :D
Kifo: [singing] If I lay here, if I just lay here, would you lie with me, and-
Meera: Who's he singing to? Mr. Seow?
Mrs. Thory Chew and Ms. Tan Choon Gan's performances were the FUNNIEST.
Mrs. Chew pretended to be some Ah-Lian-cum-rocker-chick. She wore a purple wig and hotpants, and spoke in this weird bimbo voice.
Ms. Tan entered the stage LYING ON THE GRAND PIANO. She wore this feather boa, and once during her performance, she sang- "I'M SO HOTTT." and lay down flat on the piano! Haha.. Everyone was laughing like crazy.
Even Mr. Lim Lee's preformance was funny. Since it was a Singapore Idol Spoof, he pretended to be "Paul Driven-up-the-hill" or something, and wore this wig which was all over his face. Harhar..
Then.. the interval. Erm.. It was really cool. I enjoyed it tremendously.......... ?
After the interval was Nathan Hartono's performance. It was good, as in, he had a good voice, and the songs he sang were super nice. :)
Teachers Supernova
Mr. Lim Lee played the keyboard, Mrs. Nat Lim played the drums, and Mrs. Chen Kok Peng, Ms. Tan Choon Gan and Ms. Ho played the guitar. The teachers who sang were Mrs. Yap, Ms. Sim, Ms. Bong, Mrs. Diana Goh, Mrs. Maggie Yeo and I think Mrs. Corrine Sim.
They sang the Carlsberg Beer Advertisement.. you know the one we sang at camp? "I love you baby ..." yadayadayada..
A Go Go Dance
Ms. Loy, Mrs Yue, Ms. Corrine Sim, Mrs. Catherine Choo, Mrs. Beatrice Leong, Mrs. Thory Chew, Mrs. Janice Gan, Mrs. Tan Seot Cheng. They wore polka dot dresses and feathered boas and danced! Haha, but Mrs. Ng was supposed to be in the dance, but she wasn't. Dunno..
Diorama
They sucked.
Really.
Imagine an ugly guy singing 'Boyfriend' by Ashlee Simpson, totally outta tune. And all he did was jump around, AND I SAW HIS BUTT CRACK. After that, I didn't dare to look..
But the drummer and the guitarists were fine. :D
You may think I'm weird, but I really thought the teachers were totally cool on that day.
