Hmmm... End of the School Year.

I never thought I'd be so sad, never thought I'd become so attached to 2e.

We'll all be going to different classes next year. Because not many people chose the same subject combis. And I chose a super weird one, so bye-bye to all my friends.

English
Bengali
A Maths
E Maths
Biology
Chemistry
Physics

Full Literature
Geog Elective + SS

Thats what I chose. Any advise about how life will be with this combination/how stupid i was for taking this combi/how I'm gonna die/ how its not htat bad, etc? PLEASE leave a note on the tagboard; I assure u it will be greatly appreciated.

Especially the Humans combi. Err...

No. 1 favourite - Lit
No. 2 favourite - History
I dislike - Geography

And I thought, simple, just choose the ones you did best in, Rivali. So, since I suck at History, even though I like it, [geek, haha] I decided to drop it. Because, in the end, I don't really mind doing something I hate. Hell, I've been doing Bengali for... NINE years now, and I HATE IT.

So again, I thought, simple - Between Geog and Lit, see which one you do better in, and take the better one as a pure subject, and the worse one as elective.

That didn't work.

Sa2 marks
Lit - 74
Geog- 74

Combined with the rest of the years' results
Lit- 73
Geog - 73

WTH???

Conclusion: I am unable to make life easier for anyone, including MYSELF.

Not only was I pissed of that I missed A1 by ONE f-ing mark, I was now faced with the dilemma of WTH TO CHOOSE.

"Since you like Lit, take it as a full subject lor!"

Shut up. I am a highly insecure person, and I will not rest at that.

"Why don't you take full art and Music Elective?"

F you.
Esther and I were thinking of doing that. But we didn't.

"Aiyah, Lit is your favourite, take it as a full subject. Then take History elective, since its your second favourite! So simple, why you getting so worked up about it? Stupid, lah you!"

Don't. Call. Me. Stupid. *strangles person*

"I think I have constipation."

You're not helping me. At all.

Well, Cheryl took the same subjects as me, except that she took Hist Elective instead.. So we'll probably be in the same class? I hope so.. At least there'll be one 2e person with me. :) Anyway, I would be blessed to be in Cheryl's class; I KNOW I'll never be bored there.

And Xing Yi (Sotong). She took Full Lit, Full Hist and Geog Elective..... But she took double science.I hope she's in the same class as me, though.

Huiting, Hui Ling, Amanda, Sotong, Nic, Daphne, Ding, Shakti, Lavanya, etc. I seriously hope some of them are in my class!! :D

Salad, Xiao, Esty, Zhang, ShuWei, Amrit, etc. Amrit and Shu's going NJC while the rest are going to SBC... Oh well, I don't think our friendships will just become zilch because I've been in their class for two years now, right? And Salad, Xiao, Esty and Zhang are still in MGS..

So, after school, Salad, Xiao and me had lunch in the canteen, then went to the library to watch a movie. We wanted to watch "To Kill A Mockingbird" since we had done the book for Lit, but some teacher had borrowed it. Then, we thought of Memoirs of A Geisha, but since I had already watched it, Salad and Xiao were super nice and chose another movie. <33

So, we watched 'The Diary if Anne Frank" in the TV room..

It was super funny.. I mean, the movie was sad, but at the beginning of the movie, when Otto Frank returned to his old house and realised that his whole family was dead, I just couldn't stop laughing. I'm not some evil girl who has no feelings, I don't even know why I was laughing - I just couldn't stop.

It reminds me of one day in Bengali Tuition, when I just started laughing for no reason again. And my brother, who's also a moron like me, started laughing too. And our teacher thought we were laughing at her, and threatened to throw us out. Then, when she said that, I started laughing even more! Gosh.. I am so weird.

Back to Anne Frank. Say "Anne Frank" aloud. You're not going to, but just do it.

Okay.. I shall stop irritating you.. In the movie, they called her 'Arnna Frunk.' That made me laugh even more.
Then, there was the subtitles.. Every little sound also they had to put it there.

Eg- [bells pealing] or [siren wailing; siren fades into distance]

The funniest- [grunts]
- [groans]
- [moans]

Haha... Xiao, Salad and Me just laughed everytime that happened.

But the movie was very sad, I was almost crying at the end, when the Nazis found them. It was super realistic, because it was filmed at the actual location where the Frank family, the Van Daans and Mr. Dussel hid for so long.

At the last part, the eight of them, are just sitting there, listening to the Nazis slowly coming up the stairs while destroying things, and knowing that they're doomed. That was the saddest part.

And, then, as the Nazi's came, Mr. Otto Frank, Anne's father said - "For the past two years we have lived in fear. Now we can live in hope. "

That was so sad!

Okay, I'm going now
Rivali.

ps: Don't forget to advise abt subject combis on tagboard :D

YShe laughed. And laughed. And laughed yet again.;;
