Okay, so I haven't been like blogging much lately and Amrit keeps on telling me too... So now i'm in the library.
So anyway, topic of today is Friday's Lit lesson. Now, i'm sure all u people in 2e know how much we all used to dread Literature lessons.. Like, everytime we heard Mrs. Ng's heels clicking and clacking in the corridors, we'd scream and run back to our places? Yeah. So anyway, Mrs. Ng suddenly became like, nice to us. I mean, she's really funny now and I, atleast, look forward to her lessons now.. As in, we're not like, terrified of her anymore.. But Claire is..haha. I don't blame her, cuz there was this one time when Mrs. Ng pretended to beat her up, to let us see how someone beat up Mayella Ewell or something. And we could all see Claire look terrified. So these are some quotes from the Lit lesson 2e had on Friday, 18th of August.
Mrs. Ng related this rather saddening incident to us...
Anonymous Teacher: For the girls to like you, you must be pretty and sweet. Mrs. Ng: Yeah, I think thats why they hate me. Anonymous Teacher: Yeah, I think thats why...
Oh well, we felt quite sorry for Meng. She seemed rather sad, though there were a couple of people who were pretty amused. (Me excluded. I just felt saaaad.). I mean, 2e agrees that she's a bit.. insecure? She keeps on calling herself fat and ugly even though she ISN'T. But she's a really good teacher.
Mrs. Ng: You know, everytime Mr, Seow comes back from a lesson with 2e, he's always like, breathless? Like he's so tortured. [Makes fanning motion with hands] -------- Mrs. Ng: If you screw up and you're a doctor, or lawyer, somebody dies or you have to pay for it. That's why teaching is the best profession! Cuz nobody dies. And five years later when your students realise you didn't teach them well, teachers day is over. You have already gotten the presents! And by that time the students dont care! . -------- Mrs. Ng: Stop looking at me with that disdain in your eyes, Sarah. Sarah: What the-?? But-but- Mrs. Ng: I know what you're thinking, Sarah. You're thinking, 'WHAT is this stupid fat cow talking about?' Well, moo moo to you too, Sarah. Sarah: [ears turning red] But- but- I didn't! I-
Ps: It's really hard to believe Sarah would do anything of that sort. Oh well, Mrs. Ng has always picked on her anyway.. :P But its rather funny... hahaha
So that's pretty much our Lit lesson that day, unless u wanna know about Mayella and Bob Ewell and yadayadayada..
So, anyway, I've been typing this post out over a couple of days.. So today's like, Tuesday... Hahahahaha... Btw, do you guys think Mr. Seow and Mrs. Chan are like, crushing on each other? Evidence
During Values Ed, in the Lecture Theater, 2e caught sight of her play 'slapping' him. When interrogated about it later, he said that he wanted to go for lunch or something, and she wanted to go later or something. Anyway, that was the reason why.
Then today during English she walked by and he yelled out- "Serena!!!" (very loudly, btw) and ran to talk to her. So ofcourse, us losers in 2e had to shout 'Ooooooohh! Run after her! Chase her! Catch her, etc.' We thought she was gone, but then, suddenly, she poked her head around the door and said "Oi! What lah?!?!" And was totally glaring at us. So then, she explained something about how he was her 'brother' or something, and it seemed as though he was looking at her wistfully...

I don't think they're actually like, u know, going out-going out. But there are people - many people- who think otherwise. And TEACHERS' DAY is coming up. Hmmm.... (evil grin) Hahaha... I honestly can't wait for the 2e class video to be shown on screen.. I hope the teachers won't get mad though.. We dont (really) mock them. But then again, if they DO get angry, will I get into trouble? Dunno.. I mean, I only helped ------ get some pics..nothin much.. I hope...
And Meera RAJAH! gosh... I shall post the letter she wrote for English here next time.. I mean, She wrote that her name was 'Oglebert Fartworthy' or something... hahaha. And btw, her Report book is seriously funny. Mr. Seow wrote something about 'what a joy she was to teach' .. or something? Then the funniest was art. Her comment from Mr. Ong was 'Please Submit your work.' But apparently, he wrote the wrong comment.. It wasn't supposed to be for her..
